As most of us have found the SpellbornDB an invaluable knowledge database for all things Spellborn I thought I would make a sticky with all credit going to my dear friend BigBadaBoom.

Many of you probably already found your way to SpellbornDB, since the game is now officially launched I decided to create a thread on these forums telling new players what SpellbornDB is and hopefully also gathering some feedback and suggestions since it is still very much work in progress and constantly expanding.

The site is dedicated to gathering information on Spellborn and making it easy to access for players.
While the site itself is in English all searches can be done in any of the three official TCoS languages: English, German and French.
What you can do with SpellbornDB:
Locations
* Find NPCs & Objects
With this tool you can search for named NPCs and interactive objects over all shards. If a NPC patrols (like many of the menaces) clicking on its marker will also bring up the patrol route.
* Find Resources & Loot
Looking for a recipe or a specific resource for your recipe? This tool will find it for you. The "detailed output"-option will give you a list that includes droprates so that you can see at a glance where to go to for the best droprate.
* Show Maps & Markers
This is where an often overlooked tool of SpellbornDB hides. Do you what to know where a specific mob on the shard resides? Have SpellbornDB show you all mobs on that shard and just click on its name in the list to the right to highlight it.
Items
* Search Items
This is quite straight forward. Search for any item in the database using a variety of filters.
Quests and Levels
* Find Quests & Chains
Searching for a quest? This is the place to look. You can also search through the quest chains or by clicking on the chain name in the detailed quest view you can see whether your quest opens up long quest chains. This is very useful when you're slowly running out of fame but have a few old quests left unfinished - one of those just might open up lots of follow up quests for your level.
* Level Progression
This not only gives you an overview of how much fame you need for each level, it also shows you any new quests opening up at your level! It only shows the "starter" quests, most of these will have many follow ups, you can check on these by clicking on the quest and then clicking on the name of the questchain.
